I get that people are complimenting lando by saying hes amazing this year (and he is), but theyre doing a massive disservice to the season he had in 2025. Its easy to be chill and level headed when you're not part of the title, but when ur competing against prime max verstappen, get a mechanical failure in zandvoort, and then a dsq all cuz of ur teams fault? and u still dont crumble and manage to win? That takes guts. People undermine his 2025 performance too much

yet looking at this….. you wouldn’t even think his first half of the season was bad. his consistency helped him win the wdc. oscar lost the wdc because he wasn’t consistent the second half.

People only have this take because of how max won his 4 WDC. Lando had a very normal WDC season. 7 wins. 18 podiums. (Could have been more not for Canada, Zanvort, Vegas, and Qatar.)

Where did he go head to head with max and win?😂 He had a 100point headstart due to redbull being rubbish, and won with 2 points. I think you all are forgetting how much better mclaren was last year. Lando did win the championship, but his performances at times were terrible. Lando only started to perform when oscar started to collapse. This year Lando is MUCH better. Constant all around pace in every track and every circumstance. Clear 2nd best on the grid, above Kimi.

18 podiums with 3 missed due to no fault of his own…he would be tied in history with Max on the most podiums in a season I think that tells you how stellar a season he had even with the lowest of lows he was still there …consistency wins championships

Norris agenda last year was so stupid that it let people ignore the fact that he was immensely consistent in a car that was not compatible with his driving style, and he had 2 competitors for the title one of them being his own teammate and the other being Verstappen. If people didn’t have such a blinkered hatred of him, they’d have appreciated the achievement a lot more.

he was performing the same way after the summer break last year he just had the fastest car so it doesn't seem impressive he was the unluckiest and most consistent driver last year he has biggest winning margins and biggest amount of podiums

he was good he had the car, team and pace. Even i sad that Max couldn't win last year WDC but that doesn't mean Lando not deserves the championship. This pov are bs 🙃

i mean u know what they were talking about, lando’s approach to racing changed. he’s more confident and aggressive and isn’t scared to challenge anyone atm. it was a matter of time when that happened

Lando was a very worthy winner last season. He wasn’t pitch perfect, but he overcame many setbacks and had those incredible 2 races in Mexico and Brazil which really helped win him the championship in the end. Anybody who says he’s not a worthy WDC is just hating tbh
