in SA they turned a single lane road into a wide open 4 lane divided road and dropped the speed limit from 80 to 60....

To be fair, vast majority of people drive on citylink well above 80. There’s no speed cameras there and most don’t care

Need every freeway to be at least 160, because why are some of the twistiest pothole filled roads with trees inches from the road 100 yet a straight smooth freeway cant be 160+

meanwhile theres no emergency stopping lane on the way to Shep, Bendigo and Moe yet its 110km/h. Heck going through Bacchus Marsh from Geelong is 110km/h and its a single lane for the most part

I know this is a different state, but in Adelaide there was a bad crash on a main road that was 80km/h at 10pm. Now they have reduced the speed to 60km/h between 8-9:30am and 2-4pm. Absolutely insane even for the slow state.
