Omg I used to do this when I was a manager. They would be like “oh they did this last time” and I would say “do you remember what they looked like” they would describe them and I would be like “omg Janet is gonna have to have a sit down with me then I’m the manager and she CANT be doing that.” They would feel so sad about Janet. She’s been fired like 4 times. 🤣

I never worked retail but in restaurants I always say, okay let me speak to that person about violating the policy and they will either be written up or terminated! With a smile on my face, then their whole demeanor changes like 😭
