My husband is a gamer, i am a reader. He games while I read. We both have a rule of “hun i want attention” ok cool let me get to a good stopping spot and we will spend time together (no more than 20m after the request is made) Things are good in moderation. Most people’s issues are poor moderation.

ive had the rule of if Im spending time with my partner then its with them and the games are off. unless, there has been a discussion about it. whether there is a timer or whatever.
