Weather reports indicate that some higher elevations could receive significant snowfall, while Johannesburg and other lower-lying areas are more likely to experience very cold conditions and rain, with snow remaining possible in favourable elevated areas. Residents are urged to prepare for the cold conditions, while motorists travelling through mountainous areas should exercise caution as snow, ice, strong winds and poor visibility could create hazardous road conditions.
