you can listen to music when studying, but without any lyrics. so you can listen to classical music, it even helps you concentrate, according to some studies

I actually think a backpack is better than carrying a bag on one shoulder. You can fit everything you need, and the weight is evenly distributed between both shoulders, so one side doesn’t end up hurting. 😭

I put myself on a strict uniform this year and it has saved me so much. Before this, I used to look like a HOT MESS because I commute and have to wake up early, so I never really had time to think about what I was going to wear. I would end up worrying about how I looked for the rest of the day.
Since I started wearing a uniform, I always look presentable and I feel better about myself too. I’ve also noticed that my teachers take me more seriously when I come in dressed properly compared to when I used to show up in joggers.
This genuinely saves me so much stress and makes my mornings way easier. i also got it all on vinted so it was extremely cheap ;)

I found that I worried a lot about what I wore when I was in university. It was definitely distracting so this is great advice

Over the years I learned the smaller the bag and the less I bring, the happier the uni day. Laptop, adapter & charger, water bottle and personal items. Maybe paper and pen

How do you manage to be financially independent and to raise a child while being in uni? I work during the weekends and summer breaks but it’s still not enough to financially support myself only

Also i would add that a consistent and simple way of organising lecture notes is a MUST ! When i started doing that i felt so much better doing work :) i use an average lined notebook and i put those skinny sticky tags at the corner of the paper, and colour code it for what the notes are ! :)

Don't regret getting myself a laptop backpack, it's very spacious with multiple compartments, the bottle insert also expands with a zipper
