The hill I will die on forever, is this would be regarded as one of the greatest shows of all time if it had ended at the right time. It should have ended the moment delores realized who the voice in her head was. Eyes open, realization, cut to black. All that came after should have just been implied

Actually, Westworld was broken from the first season. Their “ambitious” idea of showing events out of chronological order was suicidal. The viewer couldn’t truly empathize with the characters or understand their motives. It might work in a movie, but what a terrible way to build a TV show, where the explanation for something you see in the third episode is only revealed in the eighth. What enormous commitment is expected from the viewer to accept that?
