i love padme, i really wish they kept her political scenes in rots. she deserved more than just being “anakins wife”. in another galaxy her and ani are married and he doesn’t turn to the dark side

She was 14 when she fought for her planet, for her people. She was a queen, a politician before ever being the wife of the chosen one.

Padme you deserve better writers. While, I do like Anakin & Padme (mainly bc they have chemistry) it’s just so heartbreaking her story. Like, in Phantom Menace we saw her as a queen doing everything for her people & being hella smart & badass only for them to turn her into a wife like no. Goodbye, Padme Amidala we hardly knew you 💔

Both Anakin and Padme are incredible characters. I love both. And I refuse to allow Anakin haters to diminish Padme’s important role just because they think she was diminished to just a wife 🤦🏻♀️(being a wife is also an extremely important role. But she was more than just a wife and to say she was diminished to a wife erases and ignores it all.)

I would've been fine with it if she was still in active meetings and figured out how to hide her pregnancy as long as she still had her own plot that didn't solely go to Anakin I love them together but She needs her independence away from him

This is why I love the clone wars series because that’s the Padme that I love so dearly. It showed how really passionate, smart, intelligent, and loving she was.

Also I think Anakin was too young to get married especially when he was raised in a religious sect that actively forbade marriage unless extreme circumstances (I.e an actively dying species like Kit Mundi (???)) he was 19 years old and Padme was 24 which is wild in its own right

Yall should watch the Clone Wars and read the Padme book trilogy if you want to see our girl having her badass moments 😭 the movies really do sideline so much about her to set up the romance/downfall between herself and Anakin

“The warning signs are flashing now” while Anakin drops another huge red flag is so good
