I mean, it could have been as simple as, "Trans women have such a beautiful and different experience of womanhood that greatly contributes to our combined fight against oppression", no one would have two shits to say about it. Instead, they chose to elevate one group over another, and I do think that was purposeful. Their opinion is their own, but I do think it's incorrect as stated.

Unpopular opinion: Until E.R. clarifies their wording and/or until Drew stops calling everyone with an opinion a TERF, I will take at face value what they said. For YEARS, with different people 🍊👀 and scenarios, it’s been a constant “oh they didn’t mean that this what they really meant”, and honestly I’m burnt out. Literacy is important, the podcast just proves it

The thing for me is I as a biological woman will never know what it feels like to be a trans woman, a trans man or a biological man. and the same is true for each group, but understanding each one's perspective separately does give you a greater understanding of the big picture.

I must ask why ppl think womanhood is defined by our biology because it seems regressive to boil womanhood down to “you can’t be a woman unless you suffer through the pain of periods, birth, puberty, etc etc”

You’re right I don’t think the intention was to put women down. But the way Drew is responding to this backlash is absolutely putting women down, she seems completely unable to consider a point of view that isn’t her own.
