I had this problem try looking up hidden chest because they won’t show up with the compass. I found a few after picking up carrots on the ground lol

Yeah I tried for days and finally found a small area I kept missing and had hidden chests, also the unnamed island counts towards starfell and has two dig chests and one hidden on back wall down near water line

It gets better eventually 😭 Nod Krai has an INCREDIBLE compass system and lots of people are hoping they update it for the other nations!! Also later in the game some areas will open up that are connected to other nations, e.g. the underground portion of the Chasm in Liyue! You can use the Liyue compass that spot, same applies to other areas that will appear :)

It’s likely a hidden chest. For me it was a bunch of carrots I had to collect in order for the chest to appear 💔
