Isn’t Laduree a massive chain? We got macarons there in Montmartre and they were just OK. Wayyyy better macarons in Paris elsewhere

Just got home from Paris last night (stayed a week in the 16th.) My recommendation is wandering into a small neighborhood cafes and trying their food. The worst meal I had in Paris was one that influencers recommended. Also, the best macarons are from a neighborhood patisserie - not a major chain!

I went to a fancy restaurant by accident in Paris and the food omg it was everything but very expensive. Until today I do not remember what the location ugh I wish I can remember but I remember what it looks like from inside and the outside was a corner entrance. I have no photos of it 🥺
