@drdavidmorris: Why do gut symptoms last if the gut lining replaces itself? Gut health, gut lining repair, digestive symptoms, immune health, gut inflammation, gut-brain connection, digestive wellness, chronic digestive issues, immune memory, and functional medicine are all topics being explored in modern health research. Many people are surprised to learn that even though the gut lining renews itself regularly, digestive symptoms can sometimes persist long after the original trigger is gone. Researchers continue investigating how immune responses, inflammation, and gut signaling may influence ongoing symptoms—even when imaging or scopes appear normal. This is one reason digestive health conversations are becoming increasingly focused on function, not just structure. 👉If symptoms continue despite normal testing, consider discussing a broader evaluation with your healthcare provider. 💬Have you ever had digestive symptoms that didn't match your test results? #GutHealth #DigestiveHealth #GutHealing #HealthTok #ImmuneHealth #FunctionalMedicine #GutBrainConnection #murfreesboro #functionalmedicine #magnoliamedicalcenter #rootcause #fyp #viral

I went through this exact thing! It took me working with a Naturopathic Doctor and changing my diet to heal my gut which had given me nothing but trouble for most of my life up until about 15yrs ago.

I’m sorry why don’t the doctors know this isn’t that their job to know things like this? My daughter was chronically ill for seven years. No one could give us the answers her her fiancé figured it out themselves. That’s freaking pathetic and I hear this over and over and over.

Fifteen years ago I was hit by a truck with severe injuries. ever since then, I've had an autonomic response to heat over the years. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. But over the past few years, I've had severe allergic reactions. My eye swelling up like a softball, once a week, then, after a couple years of that, that stopped, and I started getting hives every week. I've been working on gut health but still have.Hey, severe autonomic response to heat and exercise

Yes I did a scope and they found out I had inactive chronic gastritis. All this because of H pylori. Which is now negative. Have been working on eating better and less stress and trying to fix my lining. It been a journey.
