@stop.listen.2.this: **STOP. LISTEN 2 THIS 🌍** For decades, the World Bank has presented itself as an institution whose mission is to reduce poverty and support development. But across Africa and other countries in the Global South, its role has also been heavily criticised. The question is: **development for who, and at what cost?** Critics argue that World Bank lending can leave poorer countries dependent on external financing, while loans often come with policy conditions that can influence how governments manage their economies. Structural adjustment programmes in particular became deeply controversial, with critics pointing to public-sector cuts, privatisation, reduced subsidies and other reforms that could place significant pressure on ordinary people. Africa has enormous natural resources, young populations and huge economic potential. Yet many African countries continue to face high levels of debt, poverty and inequality. That raises an important conversation about the global economic system: **why do countries rich in resources so often struggle to translate that wealth into prosperity for their own people?** This isn't about saying that every World Bank project is harmful, or claiming that the institution secretly controls Africa. It's about asking difficult questions about **power, debt, economic sovereignty and who benefits from development policies.** We should be willing to examine the history, look at the evidence, listen to African economists and communities, and question institutions that have enormous influence over developing countries. Because development shouldn't simply mean borrowing more money. **Development should mean African nations having the freedom, resources and economic power to build a future on their own terms.** What do YOU think? #foryou #listen #think #question #reality

That's why you defeat the USA by changing the market and make it buy/sell in Yuan instead of the dollar.
