@airic.z: Four numbers that tell you exactly where you stand and what you need to work on. 1. Monthly expenses x 300. That’s what you need invested before your portfolio can replace your 9-5 income, (based on withdrawing 4% a year) 2. Monthly income x 0.4. What you should pay for rent and bills every month. Any higher and it’ll be difficult to actually live your life. 3. Monthly income x 0.1. The bare minimum you should invest every month. If you have high interest debt, use this money to pay it off. 4. Monthly expenses x 3. Your minimum emergency fund, kept in a high interest savings account. Which one are you working on? (Not financial advice, do your own research)
