Jordiye, I used to be in your position. About four years ago, I worked as a case manager at one of the GBV One-Stop Centers. Seeing the number of cases that came through, compared with how few survivors ultimately received justice, was deeply heartbreaking. It affected me so much that I even developed depression. I truly want to thank you, on behalf of Ethiopian women and all the professionals working in the gender sector. Your commitment, courage, and persistence mean so much. What you are doing gives hope to survivors and to everyone working toward a safer and more just society for women in Ethiopia.
