Martha :
But Aristhel, Dostoyevsky also mentioned, “It is better to be unhappy and know the worst, than to be happy in a fool's paradise.” You cannot love someone who doesn't love you the same. You can give them your heart, your time, your everything, and still be left with nothing. I have now learned that Love should never feel like begging someone to care, or chasing effort they never chose to give me. If I am the only one trying, the only one holding onto this, I shouldn't lose myself to keep someone else. You know, Aristhel? That the hardest thing is to walk away. Not because you stopped loving them, but because you finally understood that you deserve a love that chooses you, too.
