I mean a Rolex is definitely not possible on a doctors salary. However, why shouldn’t he not be able to wear good watches. If he’s spent a good few monthly salaries on that what’s anyone else’s business.

Personally I just think it’s a daft thing to wear to work in a hospital. We have to be near below the elbow, so can’t really wear it so it’s going on belt or lanyard. Why would you risk damaging such as expensive watch?

I would love for my doctor to be able to afford nice things in life after studying for years and years, which they have to continue doing in order to save lives. Mistakes are essentially not allowed as a doctor and they’re expected to be perfect, which must be so much stress.
