In my view, the United States and several European governments bear a heavy responsibility for what I consider to be a genocide in Gaza. According to numerous allegations and investigations, extremist Israeli settlers operate with the protection or support of members of the Israeli security forces. History will judge those who chose to remain silent in the face of these sufferings. I call on the United Nations and the international justice system to investigate all violations of international law and to prosecute all those responsible, as well as those who supported, facilitated, or covered up these crimes. The Nuremberg Trials established a fundamental principle: those who commit the gravest crimes, as well as those who enable them, must be held accountable.
