Always pay the cashier! The pump is preset to the amount paid for! There is no hold placed on your card either!

have never seen any kind of a screw on a gas pump down there by the flapper.

those screws are there because the flaps keep going out too far when you try to get gas, it keeps it from moving past a certain point so you can get your gas and not bug us about it not working because the flap got stuck. its an issue with the newer pump models so the pump repair guy for shell came up with a temporary solution
