Jett not liking the feeling of his socks is part of a sensory processing disorder. The lining on his socks feel like razor blades to him when they rub his toes. Coming from a neurodivergent herself.

As a mama to multiples and multiple with Adhd/Anxiety or SPD I see you! I have 1 daughter who it took forever to find the "right" socks. I eventually switched to just letting her wear crocs with none.

Does he still have his tonsils? My kid acted CRAZY every morning until we got her tonsils removed. She had serious sleep apnea, so she went fully sleeping well so it made mornings MISERABLE. Once removed she was a completely different kid. But the sock issue still remains today…she now 13

I know some ppl already mentioned but try out some softer/thinner socks for him as opposed to the Nike ones! I don’t have adhd or autism or whatever else was mentioned in the comments but sometimes sock seams do drive me crazy or if they go up too high on my ankles!!

One year every pair of socks stressed my kid. The next year he only wore one specific sweatshirt. A year later he only wanted his home lunch. Etc… we just lovingly say, “it’s always something for that one..” 🤣

Tidy up the last thing you do before you go to bed makes the morning even better knowing your house is already reset for a new day . It’s nice to see I’m not the only one with hard sleeping kiddos .

Socks was the biggest issue for my stepson. Tags in his clothing, cat and jack make sensory friendly socks, certain clothing material. Really listen they will tell you what feels good

oh how I feel every bit of this! My boy is a Senior this year! It was bad, really bad when mine was that age! I got him out of bed, dressed him and carried him to the car, and to the door at school, where they would take him out of my arms. Some people would say make that boy walk. I was too afraid he would run 😂 I can still hear him crying that he didn't want to go. I promise the days are long, but the years are sooo short!
