🍸 BAR HOP IN DOWNTOWN SLC – UNDER 1 MILE 🌟 One of our favorite ways to enjoy a quick little staycation and feel like a tourist in our own city is by booking a hotel for the night and bar hopping. I think we curated a vibey night out, and it’s all within minutes of each other! 🏨 First, you're going to check into the Hilton City Center hotel. It’s a fantastic location for downtown activities, centrally positioned between City Creek and The Gateway. We were lucky enough to be hosted by Hilton for the night, and they gave us a stunning room with Capitol views! Once you’re all settled, you’re going to walk half a block south to Spritz 🍹 It’s the cutest little cocktail bar with the coolest owners. Start your night with a refreshing spritzer to get your buzz going! Next, you’ll walk up the block to Studio at Soundwell—a newer bar + pizza spot 🍕 . You’ll definitely want to order some pizza (or a sandwich) here. Highly recommend the Oh My Mazzaro if you're a stracciatella, mortadella, or pistachio fan. After you’ve had your fill, you’re heading next door to the iconic ✨ Lake Effect ✨. It was still pretty early in the night for us, so we just hung out in the basement for the cool (and spooky 👻 ) vibes. Drinks here are EXPENSIVE, but the aesthetic is just too good to pass up. Next, you’ll walk just another half block to the adorable 🌴 Jungle Disco 🪩 pop-up at Varley! This spot always has such fun themed pop-ups, and this Coco Cabana experience is not to be missed! Don’t be afraid to try some of their more unique drink concepts—they have some really fun flavor profiles. At this point, I think it’s the perfect time to head back for the night (but if you want to keep raging, go for it!). And, of course, you have to stop by Spencer’s for a little extra nightcap and a sweet treat 🤭! We love the brown butter huckleberry cake, but the lava cake or crème brûlée are phenomenal too!The best part? You can take the elevator straight upstairs to sleep😴 No late-night Ubers or long walks home. 🍳 Morning Recovery at Trofi – When you wake up (hungover, let's be honest 😅), there’s a tasty breakfast spread waiting for you downstairs at Trofi!
