As someone who is chronically ill and has gone from doctor to doctor, I can attest that about 50% of the doctors I have encountered should not be practicing. They are dismissive, egotistical, lazy, you name it. It is exhausting to be a patient.

Because the world is blaming a systemic wide issue with American healthcare on one, newly graduated psychiatrist rather than approaching from the reality of the situation. Dr. Tufts followed the standard of care for Lindsay Clancy, and in the eyes of the public she is the monster for doing her job the way the system LEGALLY FORCES HER do her job. Any MD/DO can see this, but people who are not PHYSICIANS are blaming the entire situation on one poor woman rather than acknowledge how poor the standard of care is for women facing postpartum depression, anxiety, and possibly psychosis.
