Also, they can also get a stepper for under their desk to move while working and/or get up and walk for 5 minutes every hour or so. If you’re sitting all day, that’s not healthy anyways.

I get up at 4am to get my workout in & my coworker & I take one break in the morning & another in the afternoon to take a lap in our parking lot. You gotta get up & get it in!!

Calf raises under the desk are also efficient

So much this I work at a sedentary job and gained so much weight used the excuses well I can't do this I can't do that cause I work 8-10hrs a day sitting. I started meal prepping made it a priority to move after work I now got a adjustable desk and walking pad if you want it bad enough you'll make it happen I'm 120lbs down and counting

I work in the office from 7–4 and have kids, so I’m up at 5:00 getting my cardio in, and after their bedtime I lift. Having a home gym helps, and we’re an active, outdoorsy family. I also have a supportive husband, and that support makes a real difference. It’s important to acknowledge that—not everyone has that kind of help, especially when raising children.

5a-9a or 5p-9p you’ve still got 8 hours just not all at once. Stating the day with a work out feels so good!

I try to walk around my office as much as I can. Walk before work 20 minutes on treadmill 20 minutes after work. Then do some kind of lifting 3 times a week

I’ve never thought to look at the week instead of the day. I appreciate that tip

I'm thankful for having a gym in the building my office is in. I use my lunch break to go down to the gym, grab my book and ride the recumbent bike. It's like midday therapy. 😊

I work a desk job, I have a family. I go to the gym at night after my little is in bed. I do also have a standing desk.

I tried the walking pad and stand up desk. Tried walking and working and almost died. I can’t key and walk.

Before work weight training, elliptical or walk. Work from 8:30-4:30 then do the opposite of what I did in the morning. Plus my watch alerts me every 1.5hr at work to get up and walk around the build.

I work a desk job. I take 5 min breaks and walk. I march in place, i meal prep to make sure I dont over eat. I dont partake in office treats. I bring my gym bag and hit the gym right after work. I get 10k steps before I leave work. ive been able to maintain my 40lb weight lost for almost 5 years

I bought a walking pad and make myself get up and walk at least every two hours for a minimum of six minutes

I work out at 5:30 but would like to get more steps to make up sitting all day. My job doesn’t allow walking pads 😔. Once it cools down going to add walk at night for at least a mile
