POV: My vision was Bratz Doll. 💞 Her vision was Tinker Bell. 🧚 This was my second bridal-inspired model call, and it taught me something I wasn’t expecting. I decided to try doing the eyes first instead of the base. What I realized is that when the eyes are the only thing I’m looking at, it’s really hard for me not to create something more dramatic. The funny part? The makeup wasn’t “bad”—it just wasn’t her vision. She wanted soft, ethereal, Tinker Bell energy for her wedding day, and I accidentally gave her more Bratz Doll. 😂💞 Thankfully, this wasn’t her official bridal trial—it was simply one of my model calls, where the goal is to experiment, learn, and grow. No pressure, no harm done… just another lesson under my belt. When she comes back for her real bridal trial, we’ll be working from inspiration photos, and I already have so many ideas for creating the soft, whimsical look she’s dreaming of. 🧚✨ That’s exactly why reference photos matter.
