honestly this is why choosing your college matters. i got an internship freshmen year and had multiple full time offers. networking and choosing a college matters so much. but ofc the job market is also bad rn which sucks

what we were told was the "right thing" was just propaganda. Often times what people call the right thing is just what benefits whoever is talking... You want a job and to make that big money, you need charisma and a connect. management and above is full of incompetent people. People hustling and making things happen are just given more work.

I got lucky, my friend was a director and basically handed the job to me after I graduated. It was a contract gig, he left to do something better and the contract ended for many of us... I have not been able to find another job and my field of cybersecurity.
