I purchased a home that wasn’t maintained over the course of 11 years. The ducts were absolutely disgusting. Stanley steamer came out and took care of them. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

yes its a scam cleaning the ENTIRE air system of ANY modern house takes hours if not two days max not to mention there's NO vacuum in the WORLD thats keeping suction on a wide shift with multiple openings for more than 10 feet

returns are before the filter and get nasty dirty. supplies are after the filter and have trace amounts. if you have a gravity furnace its needed. houses with lots of animals its needed.

Dryer vent sure. Maybe even tin systems not flex duct though you’ll tear it. Best option is to just keep up with filters

Complete scam lmao most the time any dirt or items only go within the first two feet of duct work only thing that’s reasonable is cleaning the return. Remeber registers pushes air return takes it 😭

Drier vent makes sense. I have worked in HVAC for years now and i have seen horror stories of companies like stanley steamer coming to “clean out the duct work” and all they end up doing is breaking and tearing it up. Its not worth it and yes its a scam
