A few of the comments here concern me, people don’t just know things, that’s not how knowledge works and abuse doesn’t teach, it causes children to close down and regurgitate rather than learn how to solve the problem, if your parents ever did this to you, chances are you were much slower to retain things than children who didn’t get this treatment as you likely only really properly learned it on your own when your parents weren’t around
