Spiritual Vibe :
When a person dies, many spiritual traditions teach that the transition from the physical world to the spirit world is not always immediate or fully understood by the person who has passed. Some teachings describe a period of transition—often spoken of as 40 days—during which the spirit becomes aware of its new reality and moves toward its proper place in the spirit world, according to the life they lived.
The idea is that a life of love, service, faith, and goodness prepares the spirit for a higher spiritual environment. But when a person dies with deep attachments, unresolved relationships, or a life centered on selfishness, some traditions believe the spirit may struggle to move on and remain connected to the earthly world.
This is where the concept of a wandering spirit comes in—the belief that some spirits remain attached to places, people, or unfinished matters. Across different cultures, stories of ghosts and spirits have often been interpreted through this lens.
Whether you understand this literally or symbolically, one question remains powerful: If our physical life is preparing us for our spiritual life, what kind of spiritual environment are we preparing ourselves to enter?
