@melodieriv: Heavenly Father, We lift up every person, family, firefighter, first responder, and community affected by the summer fires. Lord, place Your hand of protection over those in danger and give them wisdom, courage, and strength as they face the uncertainty ahead. Please bring rain where it is desperately needed. Calm the winds, slow the flames, and protect homes, animals, and the land. Give firefighters endurance and keep them safe as they work tirelessly to protect others. For those who have been forced to evacuate, provide shelter, comfort, and peace. For those who have lost homes or belongings, remind them that even when everything feels shaken, You are still their refuge and strength. Surround every frightened heart with Your peace. Give families hope, neighbors compassion, and communities the strength to come together and help one another. Lord, we ask for Your mercy over our land and Your protection over all those in harm's way.
