@picklerickursion: Your internet is slow because Windows has been using it to serve other people. 📡 Run this: Get-DeliveryOptimizationPerfSnap Find BytesToPeers. That is how much of YOUR upload bandwidth Windows spent sending update files to other people's computers. Not downloading to you. Uploading from you. It is called Delivery Optimization and it is on by default. Turn it off: Settings → Windows Update → Advanced options → Delivery Optimization → turn off "Allow downloads from other PCs." If you have several machines at home, set it to local network only instead — that part genuinely helps you. Fair is fair: it also saves you download bandwidth by pulling from nearby PCs. The issue is the upload side, on by default, disclosed nowhere you would ever read. One setting, three menus deep, that you were never going to find. There are 41 like it 👻 link in bio.
