I remember watching a documentary interviewing a pimp, and at the end of it he looked in the camera and said “I would have gotten you, wouldn’t I?” And it was so scary bc I would have fell for everything he said. Stay vigilant out there. It’s a scary world.

This is so important. I feel like a lot of people picture trafficking as someone being grabbed from a parking lot.. but that’s only one version of it. But in reality, it often looks like someone slowly exploiting a person’s vulnerability emotionally/financially over time.
