my dad fell off of a ladder and had a tbi they lived in rural town so he didnt get flown out until about 6 hours later. They did brain surgery at 2 in the morning once he arrived..icu for a week I'll never forget the feeling when they asked him who I was and he looked right at me and said no everyday he got a little better though..he ended of having icu delirium as well. He went to rehab for a month and his brain healed and the delirium went away and everything came back to him 🥰 all that to say I've always hoped this is how neurosurgeons feel you guys are heros ❤️🥺

I had to perform CPR last year on my ex when he went into cardiac arrest while we were jogging at the beach. Hearing the paramedics say they had a pulse back was one of the most meaningful moments of my life!! As terrifying as it was being able to help save a life changed the way I look at life forever ❤️
