@operation.adventure: Now this is my kind of bike packing 🫡 We have been talking about bike packing for a loooong time! It sounds so good on paper combining 2 of our favorite things- mountain biking and camping, but once we started thinking about the logistics I kinddddd of decided carrying 30+ lbs extra weight on my bike did not sound like a fun day on the trail 😂 So when we found @Western Spirit Cycling , which is a company that actually offers trips for bike packing, BUT THEY TAKE CARE OF ALL OF THE LOGISTICS we were sooooo in! We went on their 5 day Oakridge trip, which has some of the BEST single track downhill trails in the US (the videos don’t do it justice AT ALL)!! Our guides basically took care of everything! They cooked all of our meals, cleaned camp, loaded our bikes daily, did mini maintenance projects on the bikes, shuttled us from campsites and trailheads, and were the kindest most fun bike companions out there! Total stats for the week: -80 miles -25,000 ft of downhill 🤯🤯🤯 -5,000 ft gain Epic week!! We will be back!! #mountainbiking #mtb #bikepack #mountainbike #oakridge
