I would agree with payton if he used people instead of buildings. People are born everyday and people get heavier everyday. Animals, plants, and trees too

there is no gravity in. space it will get heavier but that weight will not affect the earth position or location if demonstration throw a weight in space its weight will just make it go faster

I've heard that the earth does get heavier.. from tiny space rocks and metals falling to the earth.. but I've also heard that some gasses leak out into space through our atmosphere.. BUT.. does those to mechanisms equal out..?

actually if you look it up the earth spins at a net loss of weight. we do collect space debris and cosmic dust but more weight is shed from the planet by gas escaping from the atmosphere

That’s a good question when you add the comets that fall that would add weight. Then the trees that burn that takes weight away. The satellites we launch and rockets that never come back

Obviously this is a moronic debate, that being said his argument is still flawed. If a tree gives you a million light seeds and you plant every one an increase in weight will occur... The resources to grow the trees will not equal the same weight as the tree. Just a little something to think about .

so if you plant a tiny seed and it grows into a massive tree YES the world gets heavier....BUT earth itself is not affected by gravity so weight is not a factor
