I understand everyone saying self defense but shots to the back while running away is not self defense. It’s anger. But I also agree if you decide to put your hands on another person you may regret it.

if the weapon the kid used was registered to his father, why was it in the kids possession? also, why does it appear the the kid shot him repeatedly in the back? that is not self defense. the guy should not have struck the kid in the first place, but getting shot in the back? the kids father should shoulder most of the responsibility for this for not having his weapon secured.

I believe taylor had a right to defend himself.This man was a lot bigger than him.He was a lot smaller than him.That man probably would have punched him more if taylor tried to stand up to him with his own hands, and he probably would have got injured even more.From the big man, so I believe he did use excessive force.But he doesn't deserve twenty five years.In prison, maybe seven years in prison, but not twenty five years.He defended himself and he had all rights to do that.My opinion

You have to have the self control to stop firing once the threat ceases, but I see cops do it often. That giy was probably going to die after the first couple of shots.
