Sorry, but not being a professional hair stylist, if you tell me balayage I am not understanding you are going to bleach it. So her point of view is okay, she didn't understand before hand the balayage meant to bleach anything, because maybe she never have done that to her hair

I understand not understanding lighting or balayage means using bleach but then ask. Like you can always ask “ do those processes use bleach” if you have an issue with it or “ I don’t want bleach used is this possible” before making the appointment 🤦🏼♀️

As a kid I had perfect curls. Then my teachers kept finding "lice" and "nits". It was dandruff. The lice treatments I was forced to have in order to return to elementary school gave me more damage than bleaching it in middle school did. Only twice did I have lice compared to over ten treatments.

For stuff like this I always recommend a couple colored tape ins or I-tips for kids who’s parents don’t want their hair permanently colored!! They get a few fun strands and no permanent color on their hair!!

Lady, I have the same hair as your daughter does....you cant do any color without bleaching unless you go full on black maybe 😅 it wont show up
