Don’t ever explain yourself to ignorant people thinks weird. You should be affectionate with your mom because it soothes her and heals her. I’m the same way with my mom. I rub her butt, arms, legs, back, and always hugging and kissing her. Keep doing what you do man because a lot of men would put their mom in a home and I’m happy you take care of her.❤️

👏👏STANDING OVATION 👏 to you. Because like the ole' saying goes.."until someone has walked in your shoes they cannot and want know what you have been through "" you and your Mom keep doing what yall have to do..I have been there and done that because I was the caregiver for my Mama and my Dad and everything that I did for my parents my family thought that all my decisions were wrong - even when I quit each and every job and sold my home to move in with my parents. I may not be in your shoes and situation but I do think that I truly understand. and as far as the affection- when my mom was in the hospital I would lay in the hospital bed with her and again family thought that I was wrong.

I applaud you for taken great care of Mrs. Glo. I’m a OT and work in a nursing home. Dementia is a beast and I pray for you as a caregiver. Don’t explain to people that don’t have a heart and/or good sense. 🙏🏽

Me & my husband (from down south Roll Tide ) took care of both our Moma’s & I watched him take care of his Moma’s every need when I was busy with mine & never thought twice about keeping her clean & Fed & dresses & everything in between! God Bless you & let the weirdos think it’s weird but it’s Love ! Nothing but Love & respect for our Moma’s ! Amen ! Ours are both gone now & we think ahead to when our son will do the same.
