@elastaboy: Yanking your shoulders back doesn’t fix a rounded upper back. Your pelvis has to find neutral first. A slouched upper back and forward head are often your spine’s way of balancing your head over your hips, not a shoulder problem on its own. Squeeze the shoulders back and you’re fighting the compensation while the pelvis underneath keeps rebuilding it. Start lower. Stand against a wall, find your PSIS (the two bony points at the back of your pelvis) and get them flat. That’s neutral. From there, slide your arms overhead along the wall, backs of your hands staying in contact, ten slow reps. A light band around the wrists is an optional upgrade once the pattern feels easy. Your shoulder blades settle onto your rib cage on their own. Save this for your next desk break.
