1. You do realize Patrick is not on trial here, right? 2. The defense is putting on a mental capacity defense not a third party defense. 3. This is not a movie where there are surprise witnesses. Witness lists are submitted and approved ahead of time. She isn't on the list.

There are so many inconsistencies in this case, her DNA was not found on the exercise bands, she was unable to speak when the EMTs got there, but yet Patrick says she told him that the kids were in the basement, why did he change his clothes so many unanswered questions, I really hope the truth prevails in the end
