Yes, being a woman in a male-dominated environment can come with its challenges. But I've also found that we sometimes create limitations for ourselves before anyone else has even had the chance to. At the end of the day, competence speaks louder than gender. If you know what you're doing, deliver results, and do your job well, that is what people will remember. And being one of the few women in the room can actually work in your favour. You stand out. You're more memorable. You bring a different perspective. And if you back that visibility up with real results, being underrepresented can become an advantage rather than a disadvantage.
