This is Newkirk, New Mexico, I should know I live there and I recognized the intersection for the train and the front end of the truck in front of the route 66 gas station. Newkirk it's just off I-40 at exit mile marker 300.

there once WERE SdTs in NM, but not anymore, NMers are just a strange mix of east coast (direct) and west coast (passive... aggressive) acting (celebs LOVE working in ABQ/NM and around/with us, cuz we actually just dont care for the most part, and papparazzi *behavior* dont exist here despite Los Angeles, GA, and NM being THE spots for film productions in the US... the general way NM ppl act, & mind their business to an extreme, can throw ppl off but dont slander us plz)

You’re currently in Newkirk. Closest town is Santa Rosa. Which is definitely not a sundown town. Literally every thing is closed by sundown .. only places open are truck stops and hotels . You’ll be okay.
