Norton carried out severe physical attacks against four victims aged 13 to 22 in Norwich. Norfolk Constabulary officers built the prosecution case using digital evidence and scene analysis. He pleaded guilty to eight counts including rape and child activity offences. In November 2022, the judge handed down the extended sentence and a lifetime registration order.
