That’s why seeing him genuinely smiling, excited, and almost childlike again in Spider-Man: Brand New Day would hit completely different. For just one moment, it wouldn’t feel like Spider-Man carrying the weight of everything that happened before. It would just feel like Peter Parker being Peter again — young, awkward, happy, and able to enjoy life without constantly worrying about what he’s going to lose next. After everything he went through, even one small moment of happiness would mean so much.
