Husbands/Fathers are much more involved now, especially with postpartum care. Her generation leaned on other women rather than their spouse for that support. Times have changed for the better in that regard 😊

At the end of the day it’s all a scam for more gifts… more people = more gifts, which is why it’s now co-ed. You have the gender reveal party, baby shower, and I’m sure there’s one for when the baby is directly born at this point

My husband doesn’t care about baby showers, he would rather go hang out with his friends doing something else. Also, why is it so bad to want a party with just your girlfriends there?? Our guy friends couldn’t care less about what we got gifted for our baby?
