I work in the ER. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN RIDE E-BIKES OR SCOOTERS. Shifts have been absolutely horrific lately watching families ripped apart by these vehicles. The companies should be sued for marketing them as safe.

@🤷♀️: I feel as a kid that we should be able to ride them but not on/near main roads like backroads that go like 30 mph and they have to watch for cars and stop anytime they get near the road

a kid died in wauconda from an e bike accident just a couple of weeks ago. these things are dangerous. period.

They need legislation on the scooters and evokes. Bcs some of these accidents are not the drivers fault. I’m sick of it

E-bike, bicycle and scooter operators go too fast, they take frightening risks, don't wear helmets, and don't follow traffic laws. We need laws to license operators.
