a guy that worked for my Grandpa got his arm pulled off at the shoulder socket because his long-sleeved shirt was unbuttoned at the rist and the pto for the peanut picker grabbed it running at about 2000 rpm. it pulled his arm off and threw him on the other side and he didn't know it till he tried to get up off the ground. one guy that was there said he saw him come walking across the field toting his arm and he said" that thing tow my arm off". he was 17. and he worked on the farm the rest of his life with 1 arm. I think he was lucky that was all he lost.

Just stay away from the pto shaft. I was taught to shutdown the pto before getting off the tractor

If you're lucky it'll twist your clothing right off of you. Years ago I worked with a guy who lost his leg to his pants getting caught on a spinning PTO shaft. They can also cause your untimely demise!
