@gbnews: A detective has been sacked by her police force over a joke she made about trans people. Rachel Fletcher was reported by male colleagues for using the term "cocks in frocks" to criticise Northumbria Police's guidelines which permit biological men who identify as women to insist on being strip-searched by a female officer. She was fired last month after being found guilty of gross misconduct and put on a black list where she joins ex-Met Police officers Wayne Couzens, who murdered Sarah Everard, and serial rapist David Carrick. Speaking to Josh Howie on GB News, Rachel said: "All we're trying to do is make sure that policing is done properly, because we've all given our lives to this, this service, and we want it to work for the people who we are supposed to serve."
