We live here and totally avoid travel in and out of the Duchy during the summer holidays, it’s absolutely insane the amount of cars and people that try to get into such a rural county as Cornwall, if we have to travel we go overnight.

im getting flash backs to coming home from holiday from Cornwall. 4 hours turnt into 8-9 hours. we almost always go home at midnight now cause the roads are quieter. ik not egeryone can do that tho.

Hot take: Cornwall just needs better infrastructure. Most complaints I hear are about the roads and maybe some overcrowded beaches. But I feel like sorting the roads will already go a long way reducing tensions.
