exactly. I am someone who is asexual and sex-positive towards my fiancée, it's certainly fun for me, but it sure isn't for everyone. I think a good analogy would be with sex being chocolate, other sweets (like gummies) being romance and salty chips being self-fulfilling stuff like career or a hobby. like just because you love chocolate, and actually the majority of population likes chocolate to a bigger or smaller extent, there are still people who are either allergic, dislike sweets in general or just don't like chocolate specifically but love gummies or salty snacks. while many people love both gummies and chocolate and many buy them in combo promotional packets while going for a sleepover with a cool person, some only want to eat one of those by the TV, and some would rather haul over a ton of chip bags and eat it alone instead of eating sweet stuff with someone else. there are people who love chocolate, gummies and chips equally and eat them all in a similar amount. there are people who prefer more of this snack and less of that snack in their life, so they invest slightly more or less money into buying them. there are people who don't like eating chocolate at all. some don't like eating gummies at all. some don't like either of those. some people prefer munching on sweets rather than on salty snacks, while other people prefer salty stuff over sweet stuff. a person with a hoard of chips can be just as happy as someone with a hoard of gummies and chocolate. and a person with their gummy bears stash can be very much fulfilled without having to add a chocolate drawer to their desk.
so to summarize it; if you love chocolate, that's great. many people in the world love different kinds of chocolate and you can share your love for it with them. but just because you like eating chocolate, that doesn't mean everyone has to like it. people have different needs, tastes, preferences and priorities. you're not the universal human blueprint that everyone else is just a copy of. so don't approach someone enjoying their gummy mix and try to convince them chocolate is better, they just need to find their brand. no. not everyone likes the same things you do and that's okay❤️
