I've been showing my husband your videos and they do seem to help. Could you explain to my husband why being chronically defensive, explaining yourself over and over every time I bring him a serious hurt.. is disrespectful? I keep telling him he doesn't respect me, include me, and only sees thing from his perspective. He shuts down and turns up the defense when he hears "disrespect" and "entitlement" .. or any other negative adjective. But somehow I can't get it through to him how this is just that. Especially since he expects me to keep a verbatim accounting of each occurrence, or it turns into the above. He doesn't mean to, but he doesn't get it. We are at the end, and I dont want it to be.
